There are seven vets and nine nurses operating from the two sites covering an area stretching from the Mendips to the Quantocks and from the Bristol Channel out across the Somerset Levels.

Blake Vets can trace its roots back to circa 1895  and originally had it's Bridgwater premises in the town centre before moving to its current purpose built surgery on Showground Road, just off Taunton Road in 2004.

Since 2008, we have focused soley on providing high quality care to companion animals in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Jim Hughes, Sue Webster and Richard Bruce are the directors of the practice and are assisted by four other experienced veterinary surgeons.

Some areas of special interest include eye problems, skin conditions, heart disease, reptiles, diagnostic imaging, feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and oral healthcare for life of our dogs, cats and rabbits.
