The Role
We are looking for 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our team. We encourage all of our RVNs to perform a range of schedule 3 procedures and to have a degree of autonomy in their role. Shift patterns rotate throughout the Hospital including wards, theatre, laboratory, clinics and night shifts. As a hospital which runs 24/7, a vet and a nurse are always on site. Each member of the nursing team has individual areas of responsibility to aid in the smooth running of the Hospital.

About Us
We are a busy first opinion tier 3 Hospital based on the outskirts of the Cathedral city of Lichfield in rural Staffordshire. We are the main provider of out of hours cover in the area, powered by 15 vets including an ECC certificate holder who are backed by 15 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 VCAs. All the usual facilities, plus laproscopic equipment enable our team to perform a wide range of procedures.

Although life at Pool House can be fast paced we have a fairly relaxed atmosphere and a good sense of humour helps us during busy times. We assist the local Cats Protection and the Retired Greyhound Trust along with a number of other local charity facilities.
