Job Details

My client in the Greater Manchester area is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who has a DipAVN or NCert E&CC to join their team in a new specialist role.

This client wants to revolutionise veterinary care to enable pet owners to access help for their sick pets. They currently operate 10 surgeries across the North West and North Wales, with this practice being one of their more central locations. This practice is a busy, 3 operating theatre, 8 consulting room surgery and undertakes a wide range of medical and surgical procedures. As they move towards full-service veterinary hospitals, these clients have a unique opportunity within their pay scale for specialist nurses.

As a Ward Specialist Staff RVN, you will provide a friendly, highly efficient and professional service to our clients and patients.  The Ward RVNs care for both primary and referral patients from simple to complex cases, as well as emergencies. You'll be working to deliver an outstanding patient experience and push forward nursing services with a philosophy of innovation and evidence-based continuous improvement.

Because of this clients not-for-profit model, it means they see a high number of pets in need each day, meaning this is a fantastic opportunity for nurses who wish to continually develop their skills and capabilities. They are looking for a real team player that has a social heart and you’ll be passionate about delivering good care to animals.

As part of this role, the new team members will be expected to support the daily running of the surgery and maintaining cleanliness throughout the surgery, all the surgeries are well-equipped with the latest technology, and in-house laboratories meaning there is no need for them to refer patients and you can be proud of your working environment.
