We are currently looking for a permanent full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, want to use their nursing skills to their full potential and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills. You will be working in all areas of the hospital from theatre, anaesthesia, diagnostics, wards inpatient care and dispensary; with a wide variety of cases and lots of hands on nursing. Full time RVNs work a variety of shifts on a rota basis. Four day weeks, approximately 1 in 3-4 weekends, with time off in lieu and 4 night shifts every 12 weeks. The salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience.
 
Wood Street Veterinary hospital is a busy 24 hour RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital. We pride ourselves on delivering gold standard care for every patient. The successful candidate will be working in a fully equipped hospital with laparoscopy, endoscopy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, fully equipped in house lab, isolation and separate dog and cat ward. We are also an ISFM GOLD cat friendly practice and a rabbit friendly practice. Excellent salary package dependent on experience. CPD funded and encouraged, RCVS and VDS fees paid for.
 
The ideal candidate must be registered and ideally have experience working in a hospital or similar environment. However the role is suitable for anyone looking to develop their nursing skills. Full training will be given in all areas. Clinical coach training would be beneficial or be willing to complete.

Each surgery is fully equipped for everyday  treatments and operations but occasionally, when more specialised procedures are needed, your pets will be referred to the main Hospital.
