Registered Veterinary Nurse - Full Time - Salford Companion Care

Our established and friendly practices in Salford Companion Care  are looking for an enthusiastic and professional RVN to join our team!
You will be joining a team of 4 vet surgeons, 4 registered veterinary nurses, 5 receptionists and 1 practice manager who work closely together to provide a supportive environment for patients, clients and colleagues alike.
 
The practice is extremely well equipped with state of the art equipment providing advanced orthopaedic and keyhole surgery. The team also see a wide variety of cases and have a growing number of insured clients allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be caring, strong, pay attention to detail and have great communication skills.  A strong level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their pets.

You will be registered with the RCVS and competent in all general nursing with responsibilities including:

•    Preparing animals for surgery and supporting in surgery        
•    Administration of drugs, anaesthetic and injections        
•    Nurse clinics        
•    X-rays        
•    Inpatient care        
•    Cleaning    
 
This position is full time averaging 40 hours a week including a weekend rota of just 1 in 5  and no OOH.
