My client is looking for an additional qualified veterinary nurse to expand their fantastic team of 8 RVNs at this purpose built 4 vet small animal and exotics practice.
Since opening 7 years ago, the practice has continued to grow which is testament to the dedication and hard work of their team members and they are now looking for an additional member for the nursing team.
This is an independent family run Small Animal and Exotics practice offering a full range of medical and surgical services including an onsite exotic pet referral service and CT scanning service. The nurses are an essential and valued part of the team and perform a range of shifts including Theatre, hospital, laboratory, nurse clinics and reception roles.
The practice has 2 dedicated operating theatres, separate cat, dog and exotic pet waiting areas and wards, CT scanner, digital x-ray and dental xray, ultrasound, video endoscopy, laser therapy and air conditioning throughout.
They get a huge variety of interesting surgical and medical cases and have loyal clients who enjoy attending their nurse clinics. They are proudly Accredited Gold standard Rabbit Friendly and Gold Cat Friendly as well as winners of the Burgess Rabbit Practice of the Year.
No previous experience of exotics is required.
They are looking for a full time RVN for a 39 hour week which includes a half day off each week and a full day off if on call at the weekend. A share in the out of hours rota is required but the vets take the phone calls and care for inpatients.
In return they offer a generous salary, support and funding for CPD including Certificates, payment of RCVS fees and a friendly and supportive work environment to help you to be the nurse you always wanted to be.
