Veterinary Surgeon required at South Lakes Vets, Ulverston
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at South Lakes Vets, Ulverston! The main responsibilities of the role will be to carry out consultations, surgery and take part in an out of hours rota shared with other practices in the local area. Days worked per week are flexible 3-4 days per week, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings including the 1 in 4 weekends on call. Salary for the role is in the region of £40,000 FTE depending on experience.
We were previously known as South Lakes Vets and are a branch practice to Alexander Vets in Barrow in Furness. We are based on the outskirts of the Lake District in the picturesque market town of Ulverston. Local Beaches on our doorstep this really is a beautiful place to work/live. In the Practice, we have in house IDEXX blood machines, a brand new x-ray machine and processor and brand new computers and computer systems.
About the Team and Culture
We have a friendly team at Ulverston, we have 5 Registered Vet Nurses, 2 other Vets, 2 Practice Managers who visit the practice weekly along with the Clinical Director. It is a great place to work, a small team who all work together well.
RCVS Qualification is required for the role of a Veterinary Surgeon.
