Veterinary Surgeon - Bishopbriggs Vets4Pets

Are you confident, friendly, and enthusiastic with great communication skills and good general small animal surgical and medical skills? Then this is the job for you!

Our established Small Animal first opinion surgery in Bishopbriggs has a fantastic, new opportunity for a forward thinking and ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and professional team. Centrally located with quick access to the M8 and Edinburgh-Glasgow rail link, the surgery is brightly lit with state-of-the-art equipment and close to a great selection of local amenities.

The role is 35 hours per week including some sole charge Saturdays on a rota basis. We understand the importance of a health work/life balance, therefore there is no OOH or on call duties required.

We are an RCVS accredited practice, purpose built to industry leading standards and with excellent facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasonography, multi-parameter monitoring and in-house laboratory machines (IDEXX Lasercyte and Catalyst).

You will be supported by our team of 4 vets with over 40 years’ experience, as well as 5 RVN’s with over 35 years’ experience between them. In addition, we have visiting specialists for cardiology and orthopaedics patients. Our recent We Care Survey 2020 produced a colleague engagement score of 91% even in these unprecedented times.
