We are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team at our hospital in Birstall, Leicestershire. We offer an attractive working week comprising 4 weekdays of 8 hours each. The practice is conveniently located with good transport links to London and East Midland Airport being just a 30 minute drive away.

We are looking for an all-rounder GP vet who enjoys consulting, dentistry, operating and inpatient care.

This role is full time comprising 4 weekdays of 8 hours each, with each 8 hour shift falling between 9am and 7pm on an 'early' and 'late' rota. Weekend work is one in every 6 weekends, both Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7pm.

• Salary £40,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience

• CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave

• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

• 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays

Branch:

The practice sees a varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and vets training on our Graduate Support Programme. The practice is a 24-hour Hospital and is the main centre in the region.

Experience working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give our patients the best outcomes. Your team colleagues hold certificates in Dermatology and ECC and one is an experienced ultrasonographer.
