Registered Veterinary Nurse - Southampton

The Role

We are looking for a proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse who is keen to join a progressive team of nurses. Ideally someone willing to become a clinical coach to the next generation of nurses. Specific interests are encouraged and a team-player who can help us push our clinical standards forward would fit in well. Schedule 3 is encouraged. No out of hours. 1:8 Saturdays. We are looking for a full time nurse, with 40 hours split over either a 4 or 5 day working week. Salary range £21,500 - £25,000 dependent on experience.

About Us

We have all the usual mod cons and we are looking to develop our nurse consulting sessions and if someone had a particular interest e.g. nutrition, weight management, geriatric care or diabetes management, then we have the ability to include this in our plans. We have a strong team bond and a love for learning - we pride ourselves on offering students a safe and enthusiastic place to train. Our team is made up of 6 Vets, 8 RVNs, 7 SVNs and multiple receptionists.

Applicant Requirements

We require a qualified RVN to work alongside the vets in our practice. We are a close-knit team and are looking for a positive and friendly RVN who can continue to nurture a great working environment.
