This is an ambulatory equine Veterinary Surgeon role with purpose-built facilities to work-up cases. A cross section of horses and range of veterinary skills. Reproduction, lameness as well as the usual routine work. This is a full-time position working 4.5 days per week 8.30am - 6.30pm. OOH rota is 1:6 weeknights and weekends.
The practice has a strong foundation and presence in the community, having been established for over 100 years. Our equine vets draw on their broad depth of experience to provide solutions, treatment options and readily advise on the most appropriate management of each individual case. Our equine vets are always keen to take on challenges, explore new methods, techniques and treatments for the benefit of your horse. We believe communication is essential in the vet/horse owner relationship.
Understanding the emotional, time and financial commitment of horse ownership at all levels of interest and competition. Therefore, the advice and treatment you offer will be a product of veterinary knowledge and personal experience.
