Clinical Director opportunity with ten-Vet hospital in Swindon, salary up to £75,000
Prospect Health are searching for experienced veterinary surgeons who are either working in a senior capacity already(clinical director/lead vet) or who aspire to make the step up into a position of this kind, with a view to this amazing role within our clients multi-vet hospital. The key qualities that you do need to possess largely relate to business acumen and leadership.
We have not included a detailed breakdown of the rota as a certain amount of flexibility can be offered on this front in terms of the amount of days per week and also the weekend cover involved, a rough guide would be 1 in 8 weekends though. The split of clinical and managerial work that you will carry out each week is estimated to be around 50/50.

Key Duties

  • The estimated split of clinical/management work is 50/50
  • Leading team of 10 veterinary surgeons, RVN's and support teams
  • Liaising with senior management team on daily basis in order to achieve optimal results
  • Ensuring highest level of clinical standards are met across entire hospital
  • Rota management, appraisals, budget control, staff recruitment/retention...

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • RCVS registration required
  • 5 years experience minimum
  • Strong leadership skills & business understanding
  • Excellent communication skills
