We are looking for a motivated Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1 year of first opinion, small animal experience, to join our expanding team. We are situated in beautiful coastal Suffolk in the picturesque town of Wickham Market.

We have a young and dynamic team, with 3 trainee nurses due to qualify in the next year. Our practice encourages a caring and supportive environment for both our team members and clients. The surgery is well equipped, including digital radiography, in-house lab, a superb ultrasound scanner, 2 consulting rooms, theatre/prep room and separate cat and dog wards. We are also lucky to have an exceptionally pleasant and proactive client base, allowing for extensive case workup.

We make use of an ambulatory certificate-holding surgeon, giving the option of enhanced surgical experience for the correct candidate.

RCVS and VDS fees are covered and the full time position provides 5 days of funded CPD up to £1250. The successful applicant will also receive Vitality private health insurance.

Our clients tell us that the most important thing they want and need from a veterinary practice is a solid and trusting relationship when they need us most. Whilst we are not expensive, we don’t compete on price. We are all about relationships which is why we aim to do our own out of hours as much as is practically possible.
