Veterinary Surgeons - Full Time and Part Time - Croydon, Greater London

Due to the continued success of Croydon Companion Care, our partner Obi Amazu and Practice Manager Kyle Hoelger have exciting opportunities for an approachable Vet/s to join our fabulous and supportive team! This role would suit a passionate and enthusiastic vet who likes to deliver gold level service and care, working to high standards. 

The practice is based inside the busy Pets at Home store and offers free onsite parking. Croydon benefits from direct train links into London Bridge, London Victoria and London Kings Cross in just 15 minutes and the practice has easy access to the M25 and M23. 

Croydon Companion Care has an established and friendly team comprising of 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 1 Practice Manager, 2 Student Nurse, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 4 Receptionists. Obi qualified over 25 years ago from the RVC. He has a particular interest and vast amount of experience in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. An interest or knowledge of ultrasonography and/or a bias towards surgery would be an advantage but not essential, but an absolute must is the ability to provide exceptional customer service! 

Obi’s practice is very well equipped and he and the team have onsite access to a range of state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, New Doppler ultrasound with ECG, flexible bronchoscope, rigid rhinoscope and gastroscope, Doppler blood pressure machine, in-house catalyst machine for biochemistry and Idexx Procyte for haematology. 

Croydon treat a real variety of cases including some orthopaedics and the team take great pride in working up cases to an extremely high standard. We currently have 3 very experienced vets in the practice, all with a vast amount of knowledge in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. We work to 20 minute consultation, ensuring you have time during the day to catch up with your work. 

Obi and Kyle actively encourages personal development through CPD and is happy to support study towards certificates for the right individual. There is a bonus scheme in place and possible partnership and profit share opportunities in the future. 

For the full-time role, you will be working as part of a 4 vet rota. This is a 40 hour week with a long weekend off every 2 weeks! The part-time role is offering 2 / 3 weekdays and we can accommodate certain days. Both roles available have a weekend rota of 1 in 4 for Saturday's only. 

There are no OOHs ensuring an excellent work/life balance!
