Veterinary Surgeon (Full or Part-Time) - Southampton, New Forest

Seadown Veterinary Group is a 15-vet mixed practice which was first established in 1923. It has expanded significantly over the years and now has a purpose built and fully equipped hospital at Hythe for our small animal and equine patients. Our branches at Totton and Lymington offer a convenient local service for small animal consultations. The equine and farm animal vets provide an ambulatory service across the New Forest and beyond. We also offer emergency cover for our small and large patients at the Hythe hospital which is manned 24 hours a day. Our great veterinary team have diverse interests and specialist areas including an ophthalmologyreferral service, BAER hearing testing and consultations for exotic species.

We encourage our staff to keep up to date and pursue areas of special interest. We are proud to be a nurse training practice and many of our nurses who have completed their training at Seadown then stay with us for many years afterwards. All our vets and nurses regularly participate in ‘CPD’ (continued professional development) and many have obtained further qualifications through their hard work.
