Veterinary Surgeon - York

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. We are keen to hear from candidates who may be looking for either a mixed vet role or a small animal only vet role – we can be flexible to suit you!

As a mixed vet you would take part in a one in six rota, with a generous allowance for time off and long weekends.

If you are a small animal only vet, you will enjoy no on call and one in four Saturday mornings, with a generous allowance for time of and long weekends.

We are located in the beautiful market town of Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, with great access to the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors, the Howardian Hills, the City of York and Harrogate. Local transport links include the A1 and A1M. Due to expansion we are currently refurbishing our premises to include additional consulting space.

We are a friendly, traditional, 6 Veterinary Surgeon, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurse, 5 Auxiliary Nurse and two receptionist practice. A great work/life balance is hugely important to us and we make sure that a varied and interesting case load goes hand in hand with time away to enjoy the other things in life.

Ideally, we are looking for a veterinary surgeon whose level of experience means they are comfortable with sole charge.
