Our small animal practice in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire is looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join us on our journey to become the best pet care business in the world.

Our practice offers clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard. We can offer you the environment, caseload and equipment needed to utilise the skills you’ve gained to date, whilst also giving you plenty of opportunity to develop further, with support for postgraduate qualifications and CPD and training in your areas of interest. This is a great location for working with a wide variety of small animal cases, as we have a higher-than-average case load of exotics!

We are looking for a great vet to work alongside our clinical lead vet. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow with a great mentor.

You will be comfortable with sole charge but will also relish being part of a team, working towards the same vision of providing gold standard care to the local community and their pets.  

We are offering full time hours with a 1 in 2 weekend rota (Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm). There is no OOH responsibility with this role.

Based on the busy Borehamwood Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, our surgery is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and built to industry leading standards. We have state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound. We are situated just a 5 minute walk from the train station, just 25 minutes by direct train into central London and we offer free on-site parking.  

We are a friendly and busy team and the practice is run by our fantastic practice manager.
