The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Kingsway Veterinary Group! There is a good mix of consulting and operating. Consults are 15 minutes. We have a very supportive team with certificate holders, RVN's on site 24/7, case continuity encouraged with lots of skill sets in practice to ensure high level of care delivered. Working 40 hours a week over 4 days per week. Core working day 8.30-5.30pm. Vet Rota 1:7 OOH

About Us
We are an expanding Veterinary Hospital who has been providing veterinary care for over 80 years, successfully combining a traditional ethos of care with progressive modern medicine. Kingsway are proud to be a referral centre for cardiology and soft tissue surgery. We have in-house laboratory, ECG, digital x-ray, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound with colour flow Doppler. 24-hour on-site nursing care, CPD and further qualifications encouraged. At Kingsway we take pride in caring for staff, as well as patients, ensuring a good work-life balance so there is time off to experience the delights of the Dales on the doorstep.
 
The team are down to earth and welcoming. You will be supported by multi-disciplinary certificate holders. We encourage our team to be supportive of each other and look out for one another. Our nurses are on site every day and night taking great care of our inpatients as we are pleased to offer our own out of hours.
 
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for an experienced small animal vet who is already studying for a certificate or interested in doing so with an interest in orthopaedic surgery. You should be a great team player with a caring manner and great communicator, both with the team and our clients. Willing to go the extra mile with a smile!

The nurses also give free friendly advice about your pet's healthcare to try and ensure that he or she can lead a long healthy and happy life.

About Kingsway Vets Our main surgery is at Skipton which has just had a full refurbishment in February 2012. We also have two branch surgeries, all of which are easily accessible. Cross Hills surgery which can be used for neutering clinics and minor procedures and Silsden is used for consulting only.
