We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our friendly team of small animal vets who are driven to provide our patients and clients with an exceptional level of care.
 
Friendly, experienced and supportive environment, with currently regular 20 min consults with ample time for case work ups. We encourage clinical freedom and case continuity and can provide help and support from our experienced team, whilst further developing skills in the practice. We are looking for a veterinary surgeon that enjoys being a good general small animal vet who loves to build good client relations with a caring nature. Someone who is friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player. We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with some post qualification experience, and who is confident in consultations and basic surgery spays, castrates and dentals. Generous CPD allowance and further learning is encouraged and supported.
 
Competitive salary for the right candidate. A £1500 golden hello is also on offer!
 
Relocation payment available subject to IVC approval.
 
Based in the beautiful New Forest (New Milton), close to Bournemouth and Southampton and lovely local beaches. We offer a good work life balance. OOH until 10pm, then covered by Vetsnow, 1.5 weekends on a full team rota. Our rotas are split to enable consulting and operating times to be equally shared within the team. We are a well-equipped practice with Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, K-Laser, Inhouse Lab with direct links to Idexx, Isolation Unit, separate dog and cat areas, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy that prides itself on high standards of care.
 
We are an RCVS accredited fist opinion practice. We are a well-established team of 7 vets with various interests from skin, behaviour, medicine, surgery (certificate holder) and imaging. Certificate studies are supported and actively encouraged.

The practice specialises in the care of companion animals with approximately five veterinary surgeons, eleven veterinary nurses, fourteen support staff and two practice premises. The main centre is at New Milton where there are two operating theatres, four consulting rooms, separate kennels and cattery, a radiographic unit, an ultrasound unit, and a well-equipped laboratory. The Lymington practice has two consulting rooms, an operating theatre and ward unit.

The practice has been inspected and approved as being up to the rigorous standards required by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a Tier 2 practice and a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice. We also offer appointments with Veterinary Surgeons with special interests in Dermatology, Cardiology, Dentistry, Medicine and Imaging.
