Veterinary Surgeon - Alton, Hampshire

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced cohesive team. We would consider all desired hours across full time and part time. The role ideally you would work three full days a week with a half day and early finish too. They would also cover Saturdays until 1pm on a 1:3 rota. Weekends are 1:5 for inpatient care only. There are no OOHs, just inpatient care. For part time applicant we can discuss days and hours further. We would look to pay £45k - £55K FTE DOE and we offer a generous relocation allowance if you are looking to move to this area.

About Us

We are a very well-established, 100% small animal practice located right next to the beautiful South Downs National Park, less than 1 hour from the coast, access to London via train and easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow airport.

We have a very supportive and committed team of 8 vets, 7 RVNs, 4 SVNs and 6 receptionists. We are very well equipped with digital Xray, catalyst/procyte lab equipment, new ultrasound machines, multiparameter monitoring, electronic cautery, doppler BP and IM3 dental equipment enabling us to provide the highest standard of care to our clients. We have a varied case load, with no two days the same and we operate 15-minute appointments to allow time to work up cases as needed.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a good all round GP vet who is capable of sole charge. Good communication with clients and colleagues is essential to deliver the high level of care we pride ourselves on. The successful candidate will also be required to be an excellent team player and get stuck in when needed to.
