Clinical Director Vacancy, Maidstone, Kent

Predominantly non-clinical, director level position in Maidstone, Kent. Leading an established management team and overseeing the successful running of seven practices. Largely strategic role, requires great business, management and leadership skills.

Prospect Health are working on a truly unique, Director-level position in Kent. The role will see the successful applicant take on strategic responsibility for two successful practices in the Kent area (7 sites in total). Despite the seven sites, the position does not involve unreasonable amounts of travel and as the role progresses there will be opportunity to integrate home-working into the diary.

Though this position involves non-clinical duties on the most-part, we do require applicants who are fully qualified and experienced as veterinary surgeons. For anybody who may be reluctant to fully give up their clinical responsibilities, there is opportunity to keep your hand in with clinical work but the most the role could stretch to would be an 80/20 split(Strategic/Clinical).
Although this is a full time position, flexibility can be offered in terms of the working hours in the form of either a 4 or 5 day working week.

Key Duties

• Lead 7-person management team
• Oversee development and improvement of all staff
• Maximise efficiency in terms of staff recruitment and retention

Package and Benefits

• £70,000-£90,000 salary range

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be RCVS registered
• 5 years experience minimum
• Prior experience in leadership role likely advantageous
• Strong business understanding
