Excellent opportunity for a qualified veterinary nurse with a strong interest in anaesthesia to join Burtons Medical Equipment as part of the clinical development team.

Working with clinical director, Keith Simpson BVSc, MRCVS, MIET(Electronics), the role is primarily to provide internal training and external CPD on all topics of anaesthesia, focusing particularly on patient monitoring and mechanical ventilation. Provision of external CPD will involve delivery of CPD material to practices, regional veterinary meetings, and supporting the clinical director at national or international meetings. There will also be the opportunity to be involved with ongoing research projects at a number of international veterinary schools.

Secondarily, the role will involve providing support in the of form clinical advice and written content to other departments across Burtons, from sales and marketing, to new equipment procurement, research, and development.

The role requires someone with substantial experience of working in a veterinary clinic with an associated anaesthesia role. You may be an experienced anaesthesia nurse or have additional anaesthesia qualifications but overall, you must have a deep interest in veterinary anaesthesia and a desire to further your knowledge and/or qualifications.
