Multidisciplinary Referral Nurse - 6 month fixed term maternity cover - Swindon, Wiltshire

At Eastcott Veterinary Referrals we have an exciting opportunity to join the Referral Nursing Team as our busy hospital is expanding.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to rotate through a range of specialist departments within our large multidisciplinary Hospital, on a six-month fixed term contract. This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in getting a taste of referral nursing.

Weekly rotations will include wards, medicine, imaging, dentistry and surgery to include soft tissue, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery. This position will expose you to a wide range of interesting cases, allowing development of your nursing skills and knowledge in a variety of areas.

The role is full time, with 1 in 8 working weekends and 1 bank holiday a year. You will get 5 weeks holiday and your birthday off each year. We also encourage and support all our referral nurses to complete an advanced nursing certificate.
