Some remote working and there would be an expectation for some time in the office, max 2 days a fortnight.

Position role reports to:

Business Intelligence Manager 

Role purpose: 

Use data, statistics and analytics to understand veterinary quality and business performance problems and help solve them. 

Key responsibilities & duties 

Work with multiple different stakeholders to understand problems. 

Create a clear and logical idea of what can and should be quantified. 

Understand complex data sources and where data is not available, create a plan to source it. 

Analyse data to create business reporting and research projects. 

Communicate findings to a broad range of business stakeholders. 

Competencies framework 

Understanding complicated problems. 

Interpreting quantitative and qualitative information. 

Statistics such as regression analysis or hypothesis testing.

Advanced Excel.

Degree or professional qualification.

Strong analytical skills.

Independent and supported learning of technical skills.

An ability to prioritise and multi-task, and work to tight deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Organised, assertive and a quick learner.

Desirable: Veterinary Practice experience, R, Python, Power Query, Dax, Power BI, Veterinary Degree

Person specification:

Working hours & patterns:

37.5 hours per week Expected working location and % of travel required

Remote with some occasional travel

Salary:£40,000-£45,000
