An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ophthalmologist to join our Bloomsbury practice in Central London. 

A ophthalmology certificate holder or someone studying towards this is required. 

We can accommodate a less experienced colleague and provide training but a sound clinical understanding of ophthalmology is necessary. 

Salary and hours: 

This role can work to flexible hours across a 2-day or 4-day week. 

No on-call or weekends however you're welcome to opt in, if you'd like to do so.  

FTE package offers a salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience (includes £12,000 housing allowance, vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance). Plus £1500 CPD leave with 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, BVA, VDS fees paid. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

Bloomsbury is a lovey clinic in Central London, excellently situated within 5-10 minutes walk from Farringdon, Barbican and Old Street Tube Stations.

This Ophthalmologist role works sole charge with the support from one of our nursing staff however just 5 minutes down the road, you'll also have access to our larger sister branch, Clerkenwell.

Clerkenwell have a growing referral caseload equipped to a high standard with an exotics case load. The clinic also has all the usual toys with in-house lab and separate cat and dog wards plus CT on site, state of the art ultrasound and digital X-ray. Both clinics feeds into our 24-Hour Hospital in Kensington for all out of hour care, and the region also has it's own ambulance service.
