Head Veterinary Nurse – Tyne & Wear

My client is currently looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join their excellent team and assume responsibility for the efficient running of the nurse and student nursing team.

This would be a full-time role of 40 hour per week with weekends on a rota but no OOH allowing for a good work/life balance.

To be successful in the role you will need to be enthusiastic and help maintain a happy and efficient working environment whilst ensuring that practice policies and procedures are adhered too while providing the highest standard of care to clients and their pets. This would be a mixed role of both clinical and administrative tasks meaning you would need to support, where necessary, the effective running of surgical areas at all times.  

The ideal candidate would be 3+ years post qualification, although my candidate would be happy to hear from anyone with previous coaching/management experience who can demonstrate excellent knowledge of all nursing areas.

The practice is fully equipped with all the equipment required for you to complete your role to the highest level.
