My client has a group of 7 branches based in the Cheshire area, 6 being first opinion branches in addition to a hospital with a referral team and 24 hour A&E.
They have many modern facilities and are able to offer additional services such as:
Hydrotherapy, Blood Transfusions, Cardiac Investigations, Laparoscopic Spaying and Veterinary Physiotherapy.
They are looking for a full time permanent Vet with enough experience to work weekend shifts that may be sole charge consulting, or alongside other vets in the hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting others and engaging in constructive communication.
The successful candidate would benefit from the full range of knowledge, expertise and equipment they have, including advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner), doppler echocardiography and flexible/rigid endoscopes.
Weekday shifts may be a combination of sole charge at smaller branches or at the larger multi vet branches.
They aim to give all vets a main branch base but you may be asked to work at other Practices to cover holidays.
Usual shifts: 9:00am - 6.45pm Monday - Friday.
Weekends are usually 1 full weekend in 6 (2 days in lieu the following week)
And 1 Saturday in 6 (1 day in lieu the following week).
Full weekend shifts form a mix of consulting, A&E, hospital and evening shifts on a rotation basis.
Salary dependent on experience.
