The Role
Registered Veterinary Nurse required to join our team of vet nurses on a full-time fixed term contract for 12 months. We offer a varied daily role including theatre, inpatient care, pharmacy, nurse clinics, assisting with reception and general admin duties.

About Us
We are a single site, rural practice on the edge of the beautiful city of Lichfield with great access to local facilities in the area. The surgery has excellent onsite facilities including theatre, ultrasound, radiography, Idexx diagnostics, bright spacious kennels and naturally lit consulting rooms.

We have a strong belief in excellent teamwork and a good balance of 3 Vets, 6 Nurses, receptionist and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants. The practice has a wellbeing champion and caring staff who understand the importance of supporting one another.

Applicant Requirements
You will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse, who is compassionate and forward thinking with excellent team working skills. Both newly qualified or experienced nurses are all encouraged to apply.

We are a small animal practice and offer consultations for pet animals, ranging from cats, dogs and rabbits to the more exotic such as reptiles and birds

We are a purpose built veterinary centre with excellent facilities including the following:

Veterinary Nurse Training Centre - We are a training practice for Veterinary Nurses who achieve their qualification and professional registration on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Register of Veterinary Nurses

Staff - We are a small team of vets, nurses and receptionists working together on a single site. This enables us to get to know you and your pets personally and provide consistent high quality care
