Head Veterinary Surgeon - North-east London

I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to start as Head Veterinary Surgeon in a 6 Vet team in a purpose-built clinic in North-East London! You will be supporting and reporting back to their current long-standing Clinical Director.

You'll be joining an enthusiastic, dynamic team, working in their impressive facilities, which include a spacious prep area, three operating theatres, eight consulting rooms and separate lab, dental, ultrasound and digital x-ray suites. The clinic was purpose-built around 6 years ago, fitted out to a high standard and is fully equipped.

As acting Head Vet, you will be supporting and guiding colleagues, be highly skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of veterinary medicine and procedures, be passionate about delivering top quality veterinary care and be keen to be in a management position in a fast-paced clinic. You will have full support in your new role from the current Clinical Director and Practice Management Team.

The client has a regular throughput of orthopaedic and soft tissue cases with a growing client base looking for exceptional diagnostic care. This vet role is a superb opportunity to be part of taking the clinic to its full potential and surgically developing our committed veterinary team.

Key Duties

• You will be required to work average of 37 hours per week.
• 1:4 weekends Rota including both Saturday and Sunday
• No OOH work or On Call required.

Package and Benefits

• For your hard work you will be offered an excellent salary between £50-60,000 per annum dependent upon previous experience.

• You will be entitled to 33 days holiday per annum.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Ideally we are looking to hear from candidate with previous management experience although this isn't essential as you will be fully supported in your new role.
