Part Time Pet Insurance Consultant (Veterinary Surgeon Non-Clinical Opportunity) - Greater London

My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their Central London based team as a part time pet insurance consultant.

This position would be working a 2 day week with 1 day minimum per week in the office and flexible working encouraged for the other day. They're expecting the successful applicant to continue working alongside this role in a clinical setting either on a locum or permanent basis. This vacancy would initially be offered on 6 month fixed term contract, with a view to continue permanently if successfully.

Day to day you would be providing expert knowledge to the underwriters to help them better understand risk and the analysis of claims as well as providing insight into treatment types, medicine uplift and costings to improve risk selection.

A minimum of 5 years in small animal clinical practice is required for this position and some management/commercial experience would be highly advantageous.
