The Role

Ardene House Vet Practice is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our existing team of 3 farm vets. Ideally, you would have a few years’ experience, however we are happy to consider a new graduate who would be supported via the IVC Evidensia Graduate Academy.

Our clientele is mainly beef and/or sheep farms in beautiful Aberdeenshire. We offer a CPD allowance, private pension, medical insurance, and will cover VDS and RCVS fees.

About Us

Ardene House Vet Practice farm department provides a wide range of services and provides a supportive working environment.  Our current veterinary team has a range of experience, from recently graduated to over 20 years’ experience.   We are keen to support your personal development in your area of interest. All the usual equipment of a modern farm practice is available, including: ultrasound, Bull & Sheep Fertility, Parasitology.  We also have access to an in-house CT machine, and have facilities onsite for procedures that can be done at the practice.

We are offering a salary from £30,000 - £40,000.  Full time work would be 40hrs per week, with 1:4 OOH at weekends, and one night per week.
