Joining our professional, personable team at our Hinckley Coventry Road practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing our one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

This is a fantastic opportunity to allow an ambitious and motivated Vet to establish relationships and develop client base.

Salary & Benefits:

Up to £66,469 per annum full time salary package depending on experience, to include:

-Basic salary up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience

-£6,600 accommodation allowance per annum

-Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum

-£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum

-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum

-4 day week plus 1 in 6 full weekends

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

You will be comfortable and confident with all routine procedures as this role will involve sole charge.

Branch:

Our practice is led by Branch Partner and Veterinary Surgeon Viv, who holds a wealth of knowledge with his 25 years of experience. Viv’s a great mentor and this role offers the perfect opportunity for future development within a supportive environment.

The small and friendly practice consists of 3 support staff, Head RVN, Student Veterinary Nurse and Patient Care Assistant. Our team work well together and always strive to provide the best service possible.

Hinckley Coventry Road works closely with East Midlands Dog Rescue Centre and is well-equipped with the usual toys such as digital x-ray, portable ultrasound and is a cat friendly clinic.

Hinckley is a pleasant market town surrounded by beautiful countryside in southwest Leicestershire. The town is situated midpoint between the bustling cities of Leicester and Coventry with fantastic commuter routes onto the major motorway networks. Birmingham Airport is conveniently located just 40 minutes away from the practice. Hinckley Town Centre offers an excellent variety of shops, independent cafes, restaurants, bars and nightlife.
