Teamwork is very much an integral part of this role.

The ideal candidate will be someone with solid clinical and surgical experience, development is key and the opportunity to work under our senior equine Vet, will be an advantage to any potential candidate. We are looking for someone with ambition also as this could lead to a leadership role within the wider equine/practice team.  An interest in stud/breeding work is beneficial to help with the already busy seasonal workload of AI mares resident at the practice.

Company

VetFinders is a recruitment business with a social mission at its heart. We are more than a recruitment business whose only aim is to make a profit, this isn’t us! We aim to make a profit of course we do but we work with a number of charities  giving back to the industry we love.  Giving is at the heart of our business, we work with the local college Askham Bryan sponsoring two nurse students through their studies, have worked  with Street Vet advertising their roles for free, donate to a local charity helping disabled and life limiting children with animal therapy and work with Blue Cross. When we place candidates in a new role we donate enough to pay for a Blue Cross nurse for the day. ‘A dream job for you, a Blue Cross Nurse paid for too.’
