We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon, with experience and an interest in surgery to join our fantastic team of 8 vets and 7 RVNs.

The practice:
We are a long-established, proudly independent, small animal practice in the centre of beautiful Edinburgh. We have a friendly, welcoming team who will provide a supportive environment for any new member. Case discussions and sharing of ideas is encouraged and senior staff are always willing to mentor to allow development of skills.

Case work ups are encouraged to a high standard and there is a good range of equipment to assist you, including ultrasound, video endoscope, in house lab, ECG and digital radiography and digital dental radiography. We have also invested in new Karl-Storz laparoscopic surgery equipment.

We regularly invest in new equipment and staff training. Certificate funding available.

The role:
Full time permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon. The role is a four day working week. There is a 1 in 6 weekend rota comprising Saturday morning consultations with inpatient care. No out of hours. Dedicated off clinic time for admin and CPD.

Successful candidate:
Good client communication skills and ability to work well within a team essential. Surgical experience required.

Dundas Veterinary Group was established in the late 1970’s, when two existing new town practices were merged. The main practice at 99 Dundas Street was added to within a few years, by setting up branch practices at 34 Granton Road and 10 Lochend Road South. The 114 Oxgangs Road branch was opened in 1991.
