The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vet Nurse to join our team here at Inshes Vets! Our nurses work a (37.5) hour week, Monday to Friday with shared Saturday and weekend rota. Half day after night on call and Friday off after weekend on call. All general Nursing duties to be undertaken including anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, radiography, in house lab testing.

We provide a variety of Nurse consults with scope to expand the services available to our clients. Candidates are expected to maintain high Clinical standards and undertake infection control and equipment maintenance. This role does include weekend/night/OOH shifts where all the excitement happens. This is on a 1 in 7 rota basis. We also offer an extra day off for your birthday.

About Us
Inshes Vets is a well-established practice located in the Capital of the Highlands. We are a very busy first opinion small animal practice, seeing a large and varied caseload.

We are a friendly team of 6 FT vets, 2 PT Vets, 8 nurses and an excellent reception and support team.

As a Small Animal General Practice under PSS we have a full range of in-house lab equipment, digital X-ray including dental X-ray in our dental suite, endoscope, ultrasound, ECG.

We also have accommodation if required.

We work as a team and are keen to help each other out. We have 6 FT vets and 2 PT vets. 8 Nurses and excellent support staff.

Candidate Requirements
The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. Newly qualified Nurses are welcome to apply. Clinical Coaches welcome but not a requirement. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and organized team player with a high standard of patient and customer care. You should have great communication skills and be passionate about promoting preventative health care in our patients.
