We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or an experienced Student Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Medivet Barnes White Hart Lane.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

This is a full time permanent position, covering 40-43 hours per week (depending on your qualification status). You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

Alternatively, you must be an experienced third year Student Veterinary Nurse who is already enrolled in college.

Medivet Barnes White Hart Lane is a busy small animal first opinion practice which offers a wide range of complex diagnostic equipment and treatment options including endoscopy, laser, ultrasound, as well as access to laparoscopic spays, MRI and CT imaging.

We are fortunate to have a lovely client base who are very willing to go the extra mile when it comes to their pets. Our 2-3 vet team are therefore kept busy with an exciting range of surgeries and consults as well as providing home visits to pets in need.
The practice is situated a 5 minute walk away from Barnes Bridge, which provides stunning views of the River Thames. The WWT London Wetland Centre is also a 7 minute drive away - this is a beautiful wetland nature reserve and is the only WWT centre in London.
