We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Ashford Middlesex (Redleaves).

The ideal candidate will ideally at least 1 year of UK veterinary experience. This position would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with GP experience and excellent client and communication skills.

This role will function in an environment where colleagues support each other, by sharing skills and knowledge, to give our patients the best outcomes. The successful candidate will work 4 days a week and you will be part of a 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekend rota.

Salary & Benefits:

A very competitive package of up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training

VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

Branch:

Medivet Ashford Middlesex is based in the Ashford area of Surrey.  The practice is equipped with good diagnostic facilities; such as digital and dental x-ray, a modern ultrasound  and in- house blood machines. We are a 3 FTE vet practice and have a dedicated nursing and reception team, who take great care of all our patients and clients.  

Our practice has access to a wider range of services provided by the Medivet group, such as referral orthopaedic and ST surgery, laparoscopic procedures, advanced diagnostic imaging (CT and MRI) and radioactive iodine therapy . We are supported by Medivet 24 Richmond, for our out of hours and critical patient care and a large network of fellow vets and nurses, to help with case discussions and general support. 

Ashford has great access by road, tube and rail to London and the countryside of Surrey and surrounding areas.
