Veterinary Surgeon - Wrexham, Wales

We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS who is committed to providing a high level of client care. Experience across full range of small animal duties including small animal surgery, diagnostics and medicine would be preferred but guidance and help will always be available from our friendly team of vets, nurses and support staff.
 
We aim to deliver excellent customer service going the extra mile to satisfy the needs and wants of our diverse client range.
 
This role provides a mixture of 15 minute consultations with a wide range of surgeries from routine neuters to more complex operations.
 
There is no OOH as we are a Vets Now host practice. The role is ideally full time, however part time will be considered. We can offer a competitive salary dependant on experience.

We are a Tier 2 ‘small animal only’ two-site practice with a loyal client base. We have 10.5 vets and a wonderful team of RVNs, ACAs and a team of friendly support staff to look after our clients - leaving you time to look after their pets.
 
We are a nurse training practice and a silver accredited Cat Friendly practice with ISFM. We have our own in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, multi parameter, ultrasound and ECG. We’re also a host practice for Vets Now - so no OOH.
 
We have a great team of 10.5 vets, with a surgical certificate holder and two others studying for certificates in surgery and medicine and CPD and further studies are actively encouraged. Our excellent team of nurses comprises of 5 RVN's, soon to be 4 Student nurses and 2 ACAs. Our support team consists of 11 receptionists and support staff as well as our Practice Director who holds a CVPM.
 
We have a practice "Green Team" who are keen on promoting environment issues within practice. We also have a practice gardening group to share ideas and plants
 
Under normal circumstances there are always social events happening and this is something we hope to encourage again as restrictions ease.
 
Located in beautiful North Wales, close to lots of outdoor adventure activities like Surf Snowdonia, Zipworld and have easy access to great climbing and walking, especially around Snowdonia and coastal areas. If you prefer a more leisurely pastime there is plenty of shopping with Liverpool One, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, Chester all on our doorstep. We also have great transport links with both Liverpool and Manchester airport close by and Holyhead port not far away.

MRCVS on the RCVS register, preferably with post qualification experience but could be suitable for a candidate with less experience if their competencies match i.e. strong communication skills, organised, client centric, decision making and general confidence. Own transport/driving license required as travel between sites required.
