Job Details

New hospital, set to open September 2021. Seeking experienced small animal vet and flexible on the interests of the individual. Certificates funded, excellent salary and great work/life balance.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic team of 4 Vets within brand new state-of-the-art hospital!

Ideally seeking an individual with a minimum of 3 years experience and they are open to supporting particular biases through certificate funding. Equally, they are also happy to hear from experienced GP vets who enjoy all elements of veterinary practice.

The team will start with 4 day vets and 3 designated night vets, the plan for the following 6-12 months is to expand considerably though once the service is fully up and running. With this in mind this really is a rare and unique opportunity to establish yourself at the start of the journey within an excellent hospital that will act as the flagship provider of veterinary care in the area.

A 4-day working week is on offer, which would likely consist of around 40 hours. The weekend rota will start at a 1 in 4 and will improve further as more vets come on board over the following months. There are no OOH's involved due to the previously mentioned on site ECC vets, meaning that animals do not need to transferred and all care remains in-house.

The package on offer is somewhat flexible depending on the individual with a very competitive base salary based on experience. They are big on CPD and development in general, with this in mind they offer an allowance of £1500 but regularly go above this to support staff with their individual interests up to certificate level.

  • 4 day working week
  • 1 in 4 weekends
  • No OOH's
  • 15 minute appointments
