Joining our professional, personable team in our Peterborough Whittlesey practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse (or final year Student Veterinary Nurse would also be considered) with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The role is full time working 40 hours per week however part time and flexible working requirements will be considered.
Salary and Benefits
Salary up to £24,565 per annum depending on experience
£300 CPD allowance, 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available

Our team in Whittlesey deliver exceptional care to clients and patients in Peterborough, from routine vaccinations to surgery and emergency treatment. Our surgery is fully equipped with modern facilities and diagnostic equipment, including X-ray and ultrasound. Our friendly team consists of 4 Vets, 3 RVNs, a Patient Care Assistant and 4 part time Client Care Assistants. Our light and airy practice has been refurbished in the last two years and offers plenty of natural light into our large premises. We offer plenty of on-site parking, spacious reception, staff room area and a garden.
We’re located in the part of England where the rain falls the least and the sun shines the most! The town of Whittlesey sits on the very western edge of the fens, 6 miles east of Peterborough.
Peterborough is a large city best known for its magnificent gothic Cathedral. Its central location gives you the perfect opportunity to explore, the beautiful seaside on the North West Norfolk coast can be easily reached by car in an hour. Peterborough station also offers direct rail links to London King’s Cross in just an hour.
