Galemire Vets are a very well established and progressive Veterinary practice, based at Cleator Moor, on the boundary of the Lake District National Park and close to the Sea. We are keen to find an enthusiastic Vet looking for a full-time position.
You will be working alongside 6 other vets in this position meaning you will have full support from our experienced team. We discuss complex cases together and truly enjoy working as a team. Additional to this, you will have further support from our RVN's on site, SVN's and a senior management team.
The practice is a large, spacious and bright environment with our consulting rooms, theatre, large prep area and in-house lab. You will be able to enjoy working with updated equipment including flexible & rigid endoscope, ultrasound, digital x-ray, blood machines, analysers, laser tools, hydro, physio and high spec dental equipment.
This position can be either a full-time or part time role with an element of flexibility.
The rota is 1 -4 and giving you a true work-life balance. Full time would typically be working a 41 hour/ 4 ½ day working week with a regular day off after a full weekend worked. Typical hours are between 8.30am-6.00pm.
There would be elements of OOH and on-call with weekends shared between the Vets (With support when required) and one night per week on call. Amounting to 1-4 nights and weekends.
Package and Benefits
For your hard work in the practice, you will be rewarded with a well above average salary package for the region. You can expect salary to be discussed during interview with a range between £35,000-£60,000 plus, per annum. Included in the deal, you will be rewarded with additional perks as part of the package including a car. CPD is encouraged and also funded if appropriate.
Any additional work on call/ weekends paid overtime.
