Registered Veterinary Nurse/2nd Year SVN required at Holmefield Vets, Selby, North Yorkshire.

The Role
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse or an experienced 2nd year SVN to join our team. The role includes all aspects of nursing including theatre, inpatient care, in-house laboratory tests, nurse clinics and more. There is minimal requirement for out of hours work as this is covered by our colleagues at Holly House. We offer a good work/life balance rota with most of our nurses enjoying a four-day week within a flexible working environment. Our nursing team are encouraged to utilise their skills to the full in all duties within the remits of schedule three.

  • 4 days per week (shifts ranging between 8:30am and 7:00pm)
  • 1:8 Saturday (8:30am – 4:00pm), 1:8 Saturday (9:00am – 12:00noon)
  • No on call and minimal out of hours
  • Flexible rota, enabling long weekends and flexibility for change of rostered day off during the week
  • Possibility of accommodation

Applicant Requirements
The perfect fit for our team will be an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for client care and previous small animal practice experience. We would also consider a dedicated and competent 2nd Year SVN for this position. You will enjoy working within a close-knit team and be keen to continue to develop your skills whilst sharing your unique experiences with us, to allow us all to learn from each other. You will take pride in your work and be driven to succeed.
