Job Details

Given that The Dig has suggested Suffolk is the place to be we are hoping to capitalise on this, we can promise you plenty of Suffolk accents and characters. We are looking for someone to fill a big space left by one of our experienced vets. The role is currently open to part time applicants with either 2 or 3 x 10 hour days per week (shorter days available) and 1 Saturday in 4. There is no OOH but there is some sole charge dependent on experience and skills.
Our practice has two branches both within smaller Suffolk villages between Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds. We have a wealth of experience within the team and are looking for someone to add to that. We would love someone with an ultrasound or cardiology interest as that is something we will be lacking. We have all the usual toys, a big garden for summer lunches and you can bring your dog to work.
We would ideally like someone to join us who has a good strong grounding in general practice. The work load is varied and interesting, but we would be keen to support further study into a specific area if desired. The most important thing is someone who is keen to work both for their patient, their team and themselves.
Benefits (pro rata):

  • 5 weeks paid holiday not including bank holidays
  • 5 days paid CPD leave
  • £1250 CPD Allowance per annum
