The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team here at Stokesley. Although we are a mixed practice, we are happy for our new colleague to complete only small animal work if they wish. The role will consist of consults, general surgery and dentals.  
•    Daily Hours 8.15 am to 5.30pm, with one late night until 6.30pm
•    On call vet always has full backup vet on the rota.
•    1:5 on call rota

About Us
We are a first opinion mixed practice close to the Cleveland Hills, our client base is mainly beef, sheep and hobby farmers, with a small amount of equine. As a percentage we are approximately 90% small with 10% mixed. We have in-house Idexx lab facilities, digital x-ray, scanner, 4k Laser.
Our team of experienced vets offer fantastic support and back up, one vet is currently due to finish her surgical certificate this year.

Our team comprises of 5 vets, and 2 nurses, 4 reception staff and our practice manager, our present staff have been with us many years, we are a team that works well together and really helps to support each other. We meet when possible for social evenings, enjoy staff outings and pizza meetings. The practice has always supported the local agricultural shows with veterinary cover to allow them to continue with the animal sections of the show, we are also great supporters of our local riding for the disabled for the last 50 years.

Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated veterinary surgeon, who can thrive at delivering excellent animal and client care. You must be confident and professional when communicating and have the ability to work well in a team. The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident in most aspects of general surgery and dentals, with a passion for providing high quality clinical care to all pets and an outstanding client experience.
