Head Nurse - Greater London

My client is looking for a head nurse to join their busy, friendly practice in Greater London.

The nurse shift pattern would be 5 day working week with 1:4 Saturdays (time off in lieu) - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm early - and or 11:30 am - 7:30 pm late shift (on two-week rota) joining their Practice Manager in the running of the clinic.

Up to £28k (depending on experience) with at least 2 years RVN small animal practice in UK - willing and able to train student nurses - CAW and University Placements ( as they are a nurse training practice) - preferably with additional university qualification - as well as Uni Degree Nursing - 28 days holidays p.a. including bank holidays- CPD 3 days paid leave p.a. with matched by employer £350 CPD p.a. - Registration Royal College Fees - covered; Pension Benefit, Life Assurance, Health & World Wide Travel Plan - overtime paid at hourly rate and or time off in lieu  - They prefer someone living in local radius or moving to local commute.

As a nurse training centre, the practice generally has one or two university placement students with them as well as one or two College of Animal Welfare 2-year Apprenticeship students training with us.  The successful would-be sharing Coaching of our students with the practice manager and which is part of both their management roles. The practice would pay for the course to be completed if not yet attained.
