Job Details

We are seeking an part time small animal veterinary surgeon with a strong client focus to join our small and growing practice in Oadby, Leicester. You will be working with a supportive team including our experienced lead vet Gillian, a keen equestrian.

The ideal candidate will enjoy general practitioner veterinary work and be interested in engaging with and developing our loyal and friendly client-base.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing our one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

This is a part time role of 23 hours per week. The position can be filled as 4 half days or 2 full days or a mixture of the two. Please get in touch with us if you are looking for something similar to this pattern, even if it doesn't quite match, we have some flexibility with this role. You would join our 1:3 Saturday rota. 

Salary & Benefits 

Competitive salary, dependent on experience, package of up to £55,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

CPD allowance: £1,500 per annum + 3 days CPD leave per annum

RCVS, VDS & BVA fees paid by Medivet.

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
