Fantastic Client on South Coast Seeks SA Vet - All Levels Considered - Devon

This fantastic client in the heart of Plymouth are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy team on the South Coast.

The practice has been recently refurbished to a high modern standard with a fully equipped separate theatre including multi perimeter and O2 concentrator. They have a fully equipped imaging suite, including abdominal and cardiac ultrasound. Separate dental suite with dental x-ray. They pride themselves in being a RCVS tier 2 accredited nurse training practice and hold GP level practice standards, with ambition to achieve further awards.

The team of 6 Vets, 6 RVN's and 2 SVN's are supportive, friendly and hard working and are looking for someone with a similar mindset to join them on a full time basis. They share consulting and operating fairly and to match clinicians skills and areas of interest. They work a four day week and one in four Saturdays (9 am - 2 pm). Out of Hours is provided by a third party. 

The team are happy to consider all levels of experience but you must have good basic clinical skills across all disciplines and experience of working in a first opinion practice.
Ideally you will be confident and competent in managing medicine cases and a busy daily surgical load and be happy to mentor colleagues, however the team are happy to support individuals who may need some support initially.
