An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Parkside Veterinary Practice. The practice celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019 yet is still an expanding practice. The client base is well established loyal and trusting of our vets. We have an incredible and stable team, with supportive and experienced registered veterinary nurses and a dedicated admin team. The Clinical Director, Dugie has a Certificate in Radiology, and a Certificate in Endosurgery with 12 years experience of Laparoscopic Surgery (neutering, gastropexies, adrenalectomies).

Working alongside Dugie an experienced veterinarian qualifying in 1988 at Glasgow with special interests in Orthopaedic and Laparoscopic SX. We are seeking a team player who will have the full support from Dugie with the opportunity to obtain experience, and develop a skill set in orthopaedic and laparoscopic procedures. All skill levels will be considered. Some sole charge consultations at a branch practice only will be required.

As qualified MRCVS, you will already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You will be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. This is a full-time role 39 hours per week with 1:3 Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm
