Senior Lecturer, Veterinary professional and clinical skills
The University of Central Lancashire is working with local partners to develop a modern, innovative veterinary programme, focussed on producing industry-ready graduates. We are seeking to appoint an applicant to lead in course development, management and delivery in the area of Veterinary professional and clinical skills at UCLan.
This is a unique opportunity to create an innovative and industry-focused course in line with RCVS accreditation standards. You will have an experience of teaching in a Higher Education environment in the area of Veterinary Professional and Clinical skills, you will have worked in clinical practice and be familiar with the professional, clinical and ethical requirements of the veterinary profession. As a self-motivated and pro-active individual, the successful applicant will have an excellent track record of building and sustaining internal and external relationships alongside excellent communication and networking skills. You will hold a veterinary degree or equivalent, have a dynamic, flexible and innovative approach to teaching, and a commitment to ethical animal use and high standards of animal welfare in teaching.
