The Role
Due to expansion, ICR vets have an opportunity for both a full and part time veterinary surgeon to join our wonderful team. We are a practice driven by providing excellent customer service and high clinical standards and this is only possible by having a well-supported, happy, thriving team. ICR Vets is a well-established and progressive practice and our main branch in Loanhead is located only a few miles from the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

We have an amazing team of people who work hard to provide a compassionate and caring service to our clients whilst continuing to develop and grow their own skill set. Further career development is fully encouraged and funded.

The practice as a whole is dedicated to excellence in both client and patient care and is equipped with the standard diagnostic tools including in-house blood machines, Doppler, multiparameter monitors, ultrasound, digital radiography including dental x-rays, with blood-gas analysis, a Class IV Laser, endoscopy and laparoscopy also available as well as hospital facilities and our own dedicated night team. Within our team of vets, we have an Internal Medicine and Dermatology Certificate holder and a vet with advanced training in exotics. We also have colleagues studying for Certificates in ECC, Internal medicine, Surgery and Behaviour. Our practice is supported by our wonderful team of RVNs, many of whom have further qualifications in ECC, behaviour and clinical pathology. We have regular clinical improvement meetings, inhouse CPD and a programme for each individual to support their personal development within our practice.
 
Applicant Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a RCVS veterinary surgeon with previous experience ideally gained in a similar small animal practice setting. Excellent communication skills, compassion and a good work ethic are essential. A bias for consulting would be an advantage, but most important is an individual who will complement and contribute to the existing team.
